FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I. What is Suave Mentoring?

Suave Mentoring, LLC is part of a network of affiliates who work with licensed medical providers. Providers within the group share a common goal, which is to help Veterans through the VA Disability Claims process.

II. Can you guarantee I will get an increase?

Suave Mentoring, LLC provides access to a network of licensed medical providers who are qualified to do VA Compensation Exams. The Veterans Affairs makes the ruling decision on all claims submitted. If your disabilities warrant an increase and your Disability Benefit Questionnaire (DBQ)s are completed correctly, you have a high probability of success. Suave Mentoring does not make any promises or guarantees.

III. Does Suave Mentoring charge for services?

Suave Mentoring, LLC offers access to a licensed medical group. We do charge a fee, similar to fees charged by private healthcare providers. We do not accept insurance. However, we do offer veterans a FREE, no-obligation consultation.

IV. Do you offer financing or payment plans?

Yes. Part of our mission is to help as many veterans as possible. We have multiple payment options available. You can pay one time  up or pay monthly installments. We offer: 2, 3 or 4 month payment options. The Back-End payment option is no longer available. Please contact us for details.

V. Do you offer a refund if I am not awarded an increase?

No. As of October 1, 2022 there is no longer a policy for refund. Only clients who have signed on before October 1, 2022 will be grandfathered in.

VI. Can I use a VSO, the DAV, or other organization to submit my claim?

Yes. Suave Mentoring, LLC can only assist with the completion of the DBQ and medical evaluations. Veterans are required to submit their own claims. This can be done via an organization of your choice, mailing your claim to the VA, or filing electronically on the eBenefits or the VA website.

VII. How does Suave Mentoring differ from a VA appointed doctor?

Suave Mentoring, LLC is not affiliated with the Veterans Administration. The medical group that Suave Mentoring will provide you access to is comprised of independent licensed medical providers who understand the VA claims process.

VIII. Can I use your services if I have an open appeal or claim?

Yes. Upon completion of the FREE no-obligation consultation we will determine if it is best to wait for the appeal or claim to be closed or not. Please contact further for more information.

IX. Can you help if I am working with an accredited agent, attorney, or lawyer?

Yes. We work with many accredited agents, attorneys, and lawyers. All DBQs must be completed and signed by a licensed medical provider. Accredited agents, attorneys, and lawyers cannot give medical advice or sign DBQs.

X. How does Suave Mentoring differ from my primary care physician?

Our licensed medical providers know the VA disability claims process and understand how to complete DBQs. Most primary care physicians do not have the knowledge to complete a DBQ correctly and some will even decline to complete a DBQ for you in fear of Conflict of Interest.
